My Production Company Logo (2nd draft)

This is my second draft at my production company logo, Counterfire Productions. I believe this logo looks more professional than the first draft. This time I have gone for a more realistic looking bonfire as oppose to the cartoon I used in the first logo. The font type and positioning also looks more sophisticated compared to my first draft. This is also my final draft and the logo I will be going with to represent my film.

My Production Company Logo (1st draft)

This is my first draft at my production company logo, Counterfire Productions. I have chosen to use a bonfire to accompany the wording on my logo because it ties in with my company name of, Counterfire. I have positioned the writing next to the image so the focus inst taken away from the fire or the actual writing itself.

Teaser Poster - Unbalanced

This is a teaser poster for my film, Unbalanced. It is allowing my potential audience to take a sneak preview of my upcoming poster.

Inspiration Behind The Teaser Poster

A teaser poster is an early promotional film poster, which contains a basic structure without revealing too much information about the narrative, casting and theme to the audience.

The purpose of a teaser is to indicate hype and awareness of the upcoming film. Teasers can be introduced a long time before the film is due to be released.

Here is a teaser poster for the film, 'Smurfs'. This poster is extremely basic and doesn't reveal anything in great detail. All it discloses is that it will be released sometime during July but it doesn't give a definite date. It also divulges one of the films main characters, the Smurf. It's an instantly recognisable character which will be automatically associated with the Smurf franchise. The fact he is holding up two fingers symbolises it is the second film in the trilogy.

This teaser poster for the film 'Toy Story' can be instantly recognised due to the film's slogan which is placed on at the top of the poster which reads 'no toy gets left behind. Viewers who have seen Toy Story or know of the brand which automatically link this poster to the film. It also includes the company who is producing the film which is 'Disney Pixar'. This is a world famous company that most people will know. By revealing the production company the viewers can research it which will lead to more recognition. The image in the centre of the poster is stating that it is the third film in the trilogy. This poster does give the exact date of the films release which is ideal for the potential audience so they can plan to watch the film when it reaches cinema.

Screenplay 2nd Draft

This is the second draft of my screenplay for my film, Unbalanced.
I have highlighted in yellow the changes that occur in a scene, whether that be a change in dialogue or action. In blue are the scenes which have been completely redone with a different narrative, and in green are the scenes that have been kept the same but have been moved to a different scene due to removing previous scenes.

Decision Making - Characters - Stevie

Stevie Hastings was inspired by Dorien Green from Birds Of A Feather and Tracy Barlow from Coronation Street.
They are both spoiled and haven't had to work for anything in their lives. Both characters love to make people feel superior to them and thrive from being in control.

Decision Making - Storyline

Decision making is the most important aspect in film production.

My decision making began with thinking of a storyline for my horror film.

I played around with a few ideas and then made my choice

Once my choice was made and I had my heart set on stalking, mental health and the unknown I set out to research these themes. To begin with I partook in research about the unknown, schizophrenia and being stalked.
